An article in today’s Jamaica Observer newspaper states that speculation is rife on the Internet that Miss Jamaica Universe 2009 – Carolyn Yapp - is a favorite for the 2009 Miss Universe title, and so she could become Jamaica’s first ever Miss Universe.
It states that Carolyn has clearly been a favorite of many pageant watchers inside and outside of Bahamas, and that her stunning beauty, radiant personality and charisma have catapulted her in to the minds and hearts of many.
In the official Miss Universe polls, she is listed as one of the leading 25 beauties who are favored to take top honors, and she is also the number three rated Caribbean contestant (following closely behind Miss Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic) … more in this article.
